Yorli Mendoza
Born in Caracas, Venezuela
Lives & works in London, UK
I’m Yorli, a Venezuelan-born, London-based Photographer and Visual Artist, and the founder of Integration, a creative studio.
Integration is at the heart of my work. I am constantly seeking to connect and merge disciplines, media, styles, processes, and perspectives. My creative practice is about more than producing images—it is about creating conscious content and exploring new artistic languages and methodologies. It is an invitation to embody the question, to reflect, and to enter into introspection through art, creating a meaningful experience between the viewer and the work.
I am an awe-seeker, working at the intersection of darkroom-based processes, photography, and diverse art practices with contemplative and spiritual practices. My work functions as a quiet act of reverence:
To see the sacred in the simple, in the everyday, in the silent, in what is not immediate.
To ponder our relationship with nature, reminding us that we are part of it and it is part of us; to consider how natural phenomena can alter human perception; to explore a more emotional way of seeing and feeling the world.
To explore the intangible and invisible—what cannot be easily perceived by the eye but can be felt, evoked, and transformed. The unseen—our thoughts, emotions, energies—shapes our reality. These subtle, underlying threads guide and construct the lives we live. To perceive and to dialogue with the invisible is to truly begin co-creating.
